Jaime Weller-Lafavor, LMSW, is Vice President and Senior Consultant at The Giving Collaborative, where she partners with healthcare systems, foundations, and mission-driven organizations nationwide to strengthen fundraising performance, organizational capacity, and long-term sustainability. With more than 20 years of experience in philanthropy and nonprofit executive leadership, she is a trusted advisor to organizations seeking to grow comprehensive fundraising programs, execute capital campaigns, and build cultures of philanthropy that endure.

Jaime’s consulting perspective is shaped by a distinguished leadership career across healthcare philanthropy, community health, and complex nonprofit operations. She brings deep expertise in campaign strategy, major and annual giving, board engagement, and organizational effectiveness—helping leadership teams move from vision to action with clarity, alignment, and measurable results. Clients value her ability to listen first, understand context quickly, and work alongside teams as a practical partner rather than an outside observer.

Before joining The Giving Collaborative, Jaime served as Chief Administrative Officer for Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada, where she provided enterprise-wide leadership across finance, operations, resource development, marketing, human resources, and programs for a multi-site organization with a $10 million operating budget. She strengthened governance structures, built sustainable systems, and helped position the organization for long-term growth and stability.

She previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Volunteers in Medicine of Southern Nevada, leading two free healthcare clinics delivering comprehensive medical, dental, and behavioral health services to more than 5,000 uninsured individuals annually. There, she witnessed firsthand how access to compassionate care can change the trajectory of families and communities—an experience that continues to inform her commitment to healthcare philanthropy.

Jaime’s foundation in fundraising was built during her nearly decade-long tenure with Dignity Health’s St. Rose Dominican Health Foundation, where she advanced to Director of Philanthropy. She led comprehensive fundraising initiatives, launched grateful patient and employee giving programs, and helped guide a $10 million capital campaign—work that solidified her belief that philanthropy is most powerful when it connects people directly to purpose and impact.
